Sycamore Canyon- Short Drop

In February of this year (2007) we got together for another impromtu couple of days of riding. The first day we went to Hurkey Creek, near Idyllwild, California. That was a great trail and a great ride, except for two things. One, we went the wrong way on the trail, and two, Dad hurt his knee bad enough that he couldn't ride. I guess there was another bad thing; we all forgot to bring a camera.

The following day Ty and I went for a short ride at Sycamore Canyon. We didn't take very many photos, but the those we did take were of us going off a steep drop.

Bear Claw Poppy - St. George - April, 2006

April 29th, 2006-

I know this video is over a year old and I should have finished and posted it up a long time ago, but I finally took the time to complete it. Better late than never, right?

This was the second ride of our little outing we had in the St. George area last year. We had a great time riding the JEM trail near Hurricane that you can see by clicking here on the first ride. Bear Claw Poppy is a very fun trail as you can see in the video below. It is like a roller coaster. We started at the top, went down and back up, but we all agreed that it would have been better to start at the bottom, go to the top and then head back down. The video is just short of 15 minutes. Enjoy!
